Since our renovation, I have spent all of my down time nesting and fluffing and trying to make our house feel like a home. I’m not quite ready to entertain, but you better believe I’ve been planning a summer soiree in my mind (after we finish the patio…it never ends). Until then, here are some fab……

We survived! Barely. It’s now been four months since we closed escrow and we basically built a new house in that time. There are still things that aren’t complete (like the downstairs powder room…don’t get me started) and the patio will be next, but all in all, we are very happy with our home renovation. Thank you……

It’s back in the 70s here in LaLaLand and I finally feel like I’ve emerged from the rock I’ve been living under since I last gave you an update. This move has literally taken it out of me. My friend is coming over this week (!!!) to take photos of the end result, so I promise……

In exactly 20 days from today, we will be moving in. Not that I’m counting the seconds or anything. We both sort of feel like we’re on the longest flight of our life and we’re just shutting our eyes real tight and dreaming that one day soon we’ll be waking up with everything in order.……

Renovating. Wow. It’s no joke. Though, many other four letter words come to mind! I think we have experienced every emotion one can experience from utter elation and excitement to complete overwhelming remorse we ever became homeowners. But, I hear that’s normal. What is also ‘normal’ is how this process (maybe more than anything else)……
