Last Thursday night, I was more than thrilled to go book party hopping with my friend Elisabeth, mostly because I would finally meet Mrs. Lilien, who if you don’t know, has a most fabulous blog indulging in the finest of finery. Hers was one of the first blogs I consistently followed, as I mentioned a few years ago. This particular night, she was in LA celebrating her cocktail book at the Trina Turk boutique and I was very excited to meet face-to-face the person I had so admired from afar. I’m happy to report she was as cool and welcoming as I could have hoped.

You know I couldn’t leave without getting a book signed, which now has a proper home atop my vintage bar cart. I think Mrs. Lilien would approve.
