Last Thursday night, I was more than thrilled to go book party hopping with my friend Elisabeth, mostly because I would finally meet Mrs. Lilien, who if you don’t know, has a most fabulous blog indulging in the finest of finery. Hers was one of the first blogs I consistently followed, as I mentioned a few years ago. This particular night, she was in LA celebrating her cocktail book at the Trina Turk boutique and I was very excited to meet face-to-face the person I had so admired from afar. I’m happy to report she was as cool and welcoming as I could have hoped.
One delish Gilligan’s Island cocktail straight from Mrs. Lilien’s Cocktail Swatchbook
Elisabeth moises up to the bar for a fancy cocktail of her own.
Colorful sweets and delectable treats
It wasn’t long before we were fighting over the one man in the room.
Trina Turk taunted me with some gorgeous dresses, like this little black number.
You know I couldn’t leave without getting a book signed, which now has a proper home atop my vintage bar cart. I think Mrs. Lilien would approve.
