Plum Sparkler

To celebrate the official last day of summer, I wanted to share an easy plum cocktail recipe made using a plum liqueur that I bought from Daylesford, a gorgeously curated farmshop we stumbled upon on our last trip to London.

Daylesford has become an entire brand built from a family’s organic farm in the countryside, and even includes hotels like The Wild Rabbit, that is now on my list to visit. Though U.S. shipping is still in the works, you can get all Martha Stewart and make your own plum liqueur, or substitute this Pimms Blackberry & Elderflower Liqueur sure to give you a similar result. It’s really all about the presentation. Cheers!

PLUM SPARKLER

1 ounce of plum or other fruit liqueur per glass
1 bottle of Champagne or sparkling wine
Beautiful glass
2 plums sliced razor thin or other fruit for a simple garnish

Pour 1-ounce of fruit liqueur in a champagne flute. Fill with Champagne or your favorite sparkling wine. Thinly slice plums to garnish on the top of the glass. Serve with a fun cocktail napkin and impress your guests. Serves 2-4

PS. Another champagne cocktail recipe
