All Lit Up

The most wonderful time of the year is upon us once again, and it can bring on so many emotions. Like utter panic. Is that an emotion? Aside from that, I am totally in the spirit, having once again stalked our neighborhood tree farm the day after Thanksgiving to ensure we got our halls decked as soon as humanly possible.

My tree still needs a little love. New home = bigger tree = need more ornaments (like these I just ordered), but here are a few of my favorite sparkly things sure to light things up for your holiday.

Christmas Decor-2

Red Wrapping 2

BEST NEWS EVER! Ok, maybe an exaggeration, but I was really freaking excited about it. Sugar Paper has a line at Target and isn’t this wrapping paper delicious?

Christmas Decor-13

One of my life goals is to have a wrapping room. I used to have a “project table” / wrapping table, but it wouldn’t fit in our new place. So…I had to get a little creative with my holiday storage. Who wants to continuously put wrapping paper up and down all season long? Not me. Problem solved.

Bar Cart Decor

I don’t have a mantle, so I glammed up the bar cart.

(Check out these on Chairish for similar vintage bar carts)

Flowers

Bird Ornament

Glitter Joy Garland (Papersource) // Bird Ornament (Anthropologie in store) // Ombre Christmas Trees (Anthropologie) // Polka Dot Coasters (Sugar Paper) // Sleigh Bell Bottlestopper (Anthropologie in store)

Hot Chocolate

And now, all that’s left to do is wait for Santa.

And finish the shopping, wrapping, shipping & packing, fa la la la la la la la la.

  1. Love the clever ideas to spruce up different areas around the house. Never thought about orange for Christmas, but it works. Your vision makes me realize my house needs a Christmas “makeover.” You available?

  2. Haha! It’s actually an orangey pink. I still feel like mine needs a makeover. Especially my tree! It looks quite sad. Happy to help you!

Papersource on Brighton used to be Modasport, where Karen and I first laid eyes on each other in December of 1995, exactly 20 years ago this month!! Happy anniversary to us! AND thank you for another sparkly and delightful post, always so enjoyed! Hope you guys will have an amazing holiday month….you are so so so much more on the way to it that I am, or ever will be!!!
