Sugar Paper…the Affair Continues

On Saturday morning, after a little mani/pedi, I was ready to top off some very girlie me time with a paper high. Sugar Paper has been one of L.A.’s premiere stationery shops since it opened almost ten years ago in Century City. At the time, they were one of the few that offered custom letterpress and have been celebrated in a slew of publications for their impeccable taste.  Both locations are pretty far from where I live in Hancock Park, so I don’t visit as often as I used to. Now when I go, it feels like an ultra special outing, and I always leave feeling inspired. Whether you are looking for invitations, birthday cards, or a little gift for a friend (or yourself), it doesn’t get any better than Sugar Paper for quality and understated style.

It also doesn’t hurt that they are located next to Clementine, a scrumptious little cafe and bakery. The ginger limeade is one of their house specialties and it is insanely good—maybe my favorite drink ever.

Look at all that eye candy!

Of course you can get custom letterpressed anything, but they also have every letter of the alphabet on hand if you want notecards same day. I definitely need these don’t you think?

My friend Elisabeth over at Elisabethan Times recently sent me a note  on those adorable bicycle cards. I should have known I would find them here—she has great taste!

I couldn’t leave without these adorable thank you cards. How could I refuse when they perfectly matched my outfit?!

I’m surprised that as an Anglophile you wouldn’t prefer Smythson! I happen to lurve their notecards with silver embossed paw print at top. Meow and all that.
