An elegant coastal retreat south of Los Angles, L’Auberge overlooks the Pacific, offering a private path to the beach. I had the pleasure of staying here when I attended Opening Day at the Del Mar Races—it’s only one mile from the track. The hotel was renovated in 2017 with design by one of the most sought after luxury designers, Barclay Butera.
The spa at Estancia La Jolla is recognized as the best in San Diego, but if stone massages and lavender wraps aren’t your thing,
then we can’t be friends, then you can curl up on a daybed by the heated saltwater pool. They have a Valentine’s Day Love Package, which my husband and I took advantage of years ago when they first opened.
