A roundup of the best booties for fall including the popular Jeffrey Campbell Taggart Ankle Boots

Jeffrey Campbell Taggart Boots

In cooler months, I live in boots. So much so that a former client of mine (I won’t name names, but he was on a very popular dancing show) nicknamed me “Boots,” and the name stuck. From city-to-city, season-to-season, boots have the ability to pull together any outfit, and keep you comfortable. Though I probably own more boots than any other shoe, my Jeffrey Campbell Taggart Ankle Boots (available in beige and taupe here) pictured above are my most complimented item ever. People literally stop me on the street to ask where I got them. They really are the perfect boot for Los Angeles, where we long for fall clothes way before it gets cold.  I wear them year-round paired with jeans, skirts, and dresses, and they even look good with a thin black sock.  While my exact color can be hard to find, I tracked down one pair on eBay in size 7.5 and a high boot tan version here

From booties to western boots, here are the styles I’m currently coveting in my carry-on:

  1. Nickname of “Boots” might become more casual, like maybe “Booty”. Then when you call your client they can say in all honestly “Its a Booty call”
