Kit Kemp: A Living Space at Anthropologie

I am a huge, make that HUGE Kit Kemp fan. I’ve often joked that when I die (hopefully a really long time from now) I’d like to be buried in a Firmdale Hotel, which she and her husband own and design. Her aesthetic is the perfect balance of comfort and sophistication; elegance and whimsy—like wearing a houndstooth cardigan with hot pink Hunter boots. Tomorrow, she will celebrate her new book “Kit Kemp: A Living Space,” at the Anthropologie store on  Regent Street in London, where she has curated a colorful display using products from the store. I’m so bummed I’ll be stuck on the other side of the world, but if you happen to go, nothing would win me over more than my very own autographed copy, wink. The book is released in the states on October 30th and I for one, have already pre ordered my copy! Get yours here.  In the meantime, some beautiful photos of her designs.
