I love a three day weekend…but, who doesn’t right? My friend Jessica had us over to her new condo for a little pool and grill action—the best way to spend Memorial Day. I pulled out the “Weekend Waterford,” which proved the perfect vessel for many a margarita. Want some of your own? Find them here.
I am obsessed with the Essie Red Snapper nail polish Jessica is wearing! A bright orangey red, it’s the most sensational hue to ring in summer, don’t you think?
After we were properly baked, we headed inside to start the grill. On the menu?
My all time favorite fish tacos by Bobby Flay and the best tomato and corn salad ever.
For dessert, I whipped up some Sprinkles Strawberry cupcakes. They are a little denser than I like, but you use fresh strawberry puree in the recipe, so the flavor is pretty much unbeatable.
We dined with views of the Hollywood Hills and Griffith Observatory.
After dinner, it was back to the pool until sunset.
Boys will be boys. Jessica got dragged in chair, clothes and all, which led to the first Memorial Day Cannonball Championship.
