48 hours in Charleston! ✨
Eat: @cheznouscharleston a repeat visit it's that good! @sorelle_chs the new hot spot. Scroll to check out the tiny pork chop they gave me! 🥴
Stay: @thedewberrycharleston last time I visited it was the pandemic and it was minimal amenities at best. Loved it this time!
Walk: sunset stroll down Broad Street and surrounding area...can't be beat.

These two beautiful long haired kitties were rescued after being found thrown away in bags on the side of the road in the scorching heat. They were filthy and covered in fleas. We weren't planning to adopt cats so soon, but I was looking online this weekend and couldn't resist applying to be their forever home. We love them already! August is quite the personality, while Alice is a little bit shy, but despite hiding under the bed a little bit, they are exploring our bedroom and climbing all over everything. We aren't going to overwhelm them with our whole house yet. They are so tiny! They might get lost.

We had a big design challenge in our dining room because the wainscoting was quite high, while the buffet was very low. We didn't want to have to rewire the sconces, so Dave and I were stumped as to how to style this whole situation! This is why it pays to hire a professional. @a1000xbetter made it look so easy with just a few key pieces like the vintage painting and vintage brass bird incense holder that really made the vignette. Loving how our dining room is coming together! Artwork is on its way from @lizlidgettgallery and then it will be mostly complete! See my stories for another angle of the room. ✨
