The one bright spot of a crappy weekend with no power was staying at the newly opened @palisociety on 3rd last night in weho. Whimsical + European, yet LA cool, it hit all the right notes...especially at $250 a night for a Deluxe king room. 🤩 See their rooftop pool in the last photo. Weekend recap and notes on Palm Springs 🌴
1) Wandered into the Holiday House, a charming boutique hotel designed by @marksykes_designs loved the attention to detail for guests that was obvious even with a quick walkthrough.
3)We decided to try our luck for a seat at the bar at Bar Cecil, showing up 10 minutes before they open (it says first come first serve on the website) and they were rude, saying the wait list fills up by 4:30. So we dropped into the Del Rey @villaroyale_palmsprings, where they were super welcoming. Love their tapas menu and incredible cocktails. 🍸
3)La Quinta Resort is still such a special property even though it felt way more corporate (less personal) this trip. It sold in 2018 and despite still being a Waldorf property, felt more heavy handedly (is that a word?) Hilton. We are happy to report the Adobe Grill is still as great as it's always been! Cannot beat a pool side casita!
